Risk Extension

1. How do I add a Risk extension?

A Risk Extension can be added through the Workspace as a change type.

Workspaces => Add Workspace =>Add Change => type - create new => Select change type as Risk Extension

2. Can I delete a Risk extension that is added to a workspace?

Yes. However, a Risk Extension can be deleted only if it is not used anywhere in the algorithms within the workspace that it has been created in.

To delete an individual Risk Extension, click on the delete option against it. To delete multiple entities, use the other actions drop-down. "

3. Can I add a Risk Extension with a name that matches with an existing Risk Extension?

No. Duplicate Risk Extensions cannot be created. In doing so, the system fetches and loads the Risk Extension that was created previously and contains the same name along with the attributes by throwing a warning message.

4. What can be modified under Risk Extension in the event of an update?

If you wish to update an existing Risk Extension, the display name, description, under the Risk Extension can be modified.

5. Can I add same Risk Extension under two different parents?

No, Risk Extension can only have a single parent.

6. What all can I add under Risk extension?

Information such as name , display name, description , cardinality , parent Risk and attributes can be added under a Risk Extension.

7. Can I change the display name of a Risk extension?

The display name of a Risk Extension can be changed which is used for all the UI purposes. However, the name of a Risk extension cannot be changed.

8. What is Cardinality?

Cardinality defines the measure of duplicity of the component in iFoundry.

9. Can I change the cardinality of a Risk extension?

No, once created, the Cardinality of a Risk Extension cannot be changed.

10. Can I import more than one Risk extension?

Yes, multiple Risk Extensions can be imported using Excel templates available in iFoundry, provided, you have sufficient information to import.

11. How many Risk extensions can I import using Excel?

Yes, but it is important to specify the parent Risk which is mapped to the child Risk. Parent name must match with the exact name of the Risk that exists in iFoundry.

12. What happens if the imported Excel file has information about the existing Risk extensions?

While any new attributes added to the Risk extension or the information that can be updated for attribute will be overridden during import, the rest will remain the same.

13. Can I import Risk extensions with its child's?

Yes. However, it is important to specify the parent Risk/Risk extension which is mapped to the child.

14. Can I add attributes under Risk extension with same display names?

Yes. However, it is important to ensure that the Name is different.

15. Can I add attributes under Risk extension with duplicate names?

No . There cannot be duplicate names while adding attributes.

16. Can I change the parent of the Risk Extension?

No, once a Risk is created, its parent cannot be changed. However, you can delete a Risk if its not used anywhere else.
